The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) place legal duties on Clients, Designers and Principal Contractors to plan, manage and monitor construction work to as to effectively reduce risk.   • Early stage design meeting / visit to site
  • Advising on the appointment of your Principal Designer and other Designers
  • Producing Pre-Construction information (required by CDM 2015)
  • Notifying the HSE of your project (required by CDM 2015 for some projects)
  • Advising on the appointment of your Principal Contractor
  • Approving the Construction Phase Plan written by your Principal Contractor
  • Monitoring visits to site during the construction phase (required by CDM 2015)

HCS Safety has provided CDM Support services for many years, and since the introduction of CDM 2015 we now offer a support role to assist Clients and Principal Designers to understand and carry out their duties under these regulations.
