Frequency:  Due to the pre-entry and e-learning requirements set by the CITB, we will be offering this course on an in-house basis only. Please call our training department on 023 80 894695 to discuss your needs.

For an alternative option we advise you to undertake the IOSH Leading Safely course, which covers the same content and is fully recognised as appropriate Director level training.

Who should attend the course?

This course is aimed at Directors and senior managers of any company, large or small.

What does the course cover?

The moral, legal and financial consequences of director’s decisions, the economical impacts on a company of non compliance, legal responsibilities relating to health and safety, including a look at both criminal and civil law.

The course will also look beyond the law at the importance of positive safety cultures and how to achieve them and give delegates a good understanding of safety management systems and how they can benefit businesses.

The HSE/Institute of Directors’ publication on Health and Safety leadership will be used as a workbook as well as examining case studies and using workshop techniques in the classroom.
