HCS Safety provided CDM Coordinator services for many years, and since the introduction of CDM 2015 now offers a consultancy role to assist Clients and Principal Designers to understand and carry out their duties under these regulations.
A project requires notification to the HSE if it will last for longer than 30 days and involve more than 20 persons at any one time, or involve more than 500 person days.
A Principal Designer and Principal Contractor are required to be appointed by the Client if there will be two or more contractors working on the project.
Our professional approach to assist Clients / Principal Designers is based on a genuine desire to improve safety and protect the health of those involved in construction and maintenance work. Over the years we have been involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from new build construction on both green and brown field sites, refurbishment, housing and M&E works.
Our clients include BBC Monitoring, BAE Systems, MFD (International) Ltd, Airbus Defence and Space and many design practices.
