Ian joined with Zoe in 2000 to form HCS Safety. He brings a wealth of experience and technical expertise to our construction clients and those who need assistance with their CDM duties. Ian has been working in the industry since 1975.
Zoe joined with Ian to form HCS Safety in 2000. Her principal role is meeting new clients and developing strategies to grow the business. She is also the lead author for most of our training courses including the NEBOSH National Diploma. Zoe has been a member of IOSH since 1999.
Simon joined HCS Safety in June 2019 as Operations Manager after 35 years in the Royal Navy.<br /> He has a vested interest in every aspect of HCS Safety Ltd, holding a background in Equality and Diversity and HR processes.<br />
Sara deals with the company finances and ensures the consistent running of the company in terms of the invoicing, budgeting and reporting to Directors. Sara has been with HCS Safety since our early days and has seen us safely through many changes along the way.
Joining HCS Safety in 2013, Jess brings her considerable customer service experience to assist clients on a day to day basis. Jess supports our Safety Advisors and Consultants with their administration work and diary management, scheduling site inspections and is our Member’s helping hand with their safety accreditations.
Joining HCS Safety in 2019, Alex comes from a customer service background after spending 10 years as a team leader in IKEA. Alex works along side Jess to support our Safety Advisors and Consultants with their administration work and diary management as well as scheduling in work and site inspections.
Olivia works with our clients to book training courses, both in house and open, as well as ensuring the smooth running of our courses behind the scenes. She also uses her considerable creative talents to produce some of our training resources.
Joining HCS Safety in 2018, Alice works closely in the training department with Olivia ensuring outstanding customer service is being delivered within the company. Previously working as a family photographer, she has bought her warm, welcoming personality to the team.
Letoya assists Sara in keeping the company’s cash flow situation healthy. She brings her considerable experience of accounting admin and credit control to our team and helps us to remain as efficient as we can on a day to day basis.
Martyne joined HCS in 2019 and supports the training team. She is responsible for the lunches, coffee, tea and biscuits miraculously appearing, whilst she assists Olivia and Alice as well as the rest of the Administration team with general admin. Look out for her when you are next here for training!
Drew has been with the company since 2011. He spends his time providing safety services including CDM support, full audits and fire risk assistance. Drew is one of our most senior tutors; he teaches on the NEBOSH Diploma and Certificate courses amongst others and is a respected mentor for our trainees.
Andy has been with us since 2013 and has a background in construction. He spends a lot of his time providing CDM expertise and support to our building Clients and their Principal Designers. He also regularly provides training. Andy is a well-respected and invaluable member of our team and a great mentor for our trainees.
Andy has been with the company since 2014. He spends his time looking after the needs of his membership clients, conducting inspections and providing audits and fire risk assistance. He is often found in the classroom, teaching Director and Management level courses as well as Scaffold Inspection.
Leon has been with the company since 2014 and joined us from a background in external refurbishment. He spends his time looking after the needs of his membership clients, conducting regular inspections and providing many other safety services particularly in the Central London area. He can also be found in the classroom teaching on many of our courses, including PASMA training.
Alec has worked in the construction industry throughout his career, becoming a health & safety professional in 2000. Alec has worked for other consultancies and been an internal safety, health & environmental advisor for a major house building company, before joining HCS in 2018. Alec regularly undertakes site inspections and workplace audits, whilst also teaching a variety of courses for HCS Safety.
John has been with HCS Safety since 2015. He spends his time looking after the needs of his membership clientsand providing other safety services. John is one of our senior tutors; he teaches on both NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate courses among others.
Dave has been employed in Health and Safety since 2007, joining HCS Safety as a Health and Safety Advisor in 2018. He can be found undertaking workplace and site inspections as well as teaching our CITB courses.
Joining in 2016, Phil has a background in Operations, Safety and Security having worked for the MoD and Associated British Ports. Phil is a qualified mariner and holds two NEBOSH qualifications and is currently studying towards a Diploma. Phil works closely with Principal Designers and Contractors in meeting CDM requirements.
Karen has been with the company since 2017 and joined us from a mechanical and electrical contracting background. She spends her time looking after the needs of her membership clients and conducting regular workplace inspections. She also tutors a number of our courses including IOSH, for which she is a registered trainer.
Joe worked in the health & safety field for seven years before joining HCS in 2017. Retired from the United States Marine Corps after 22 years of honourable service, Joe now has a wealth of experience of health and safety within nuclear energy, manufacturing and construction.
Lauren joined HCS Safety in 2017. She brings experience from a construction background working within a shop-fitting company as a Health and Safety Coordinator prior to HCS. She spends much of her time carrying out site inspections, completing RAMS and looking after the health and safety needs of her membership clients.
Mark has been with HCS since 2017. He brings with him health and safety experience from the property and facilities management industry. He spends his time conducting site visits and looking after the needs of our membership clients and training.
Nicky has a background in the scaffolding industry, having worked in the health and safety team for a national industry leader before joining HCS Safety in 2017. She spends much of her time carrying out site inspection work and looking after the needs of our member clients.
Harriet joined HCS in December 2018 after impressing the Directors with the design and implementation of an ISO 45001 system at her previous company. Harriet holds a General NEBOSH accreditation and is currently undertaking her Construction NEBOSH.
