Health & Safety Advisor

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Providing Health and Safety advice to our Membership Service clients
  • Undertaking Initial Review Meetings with Membership Service Clients
  • Undertaking Annual Review Meetings with Membership Service Clients
  • Writing up reports following the Annual Review including providing advice on compliance with the safety management system provided
  • Producing risk, COSHH and manual handling assessments
  • Assisting with SSIP accreditations for our clients
  • Undertaking the duty advisor role and completing the actions associated with it
  • Conducting site safety inspections for a variety of clients in a variety of locations
  • Writing construction phase plans and other site based documents
  • Conducting accident investigations
  • Writing and delivering Membership Service seminars
  • Tutoring on basic level (operative and supervisor) accredited courses
  • Tutoring on basic non accredited courses
  • Undertaking any specific duties as determined by the business plan
  • Supporting/mentoring trainees as required and providing feedback on their progress.
  • Ensure good relationships are forged with member clients by maintaining regular contact

To apply for this role, you will need to hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years active health and safety experience, to include tutoring.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 /year
