• NEBOSH and CITB  Site Safety Plus courses are recognised by the UK construction industry as suitable training.  
• Fire Safety legislation requires training for ‘responsible persons’ eg. Those in control of a site or any hot works.
• Environmental legislation requires all duty holders to understand their legal responsibilities.
• The ability to carry out a competent scaffold inspection is a legal requirement under the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
• The Work at Height Regulations require those who work at height or  plan or organise work  at height to be trained and competent.
• The Control of Asbestos Awareness Regulations 2006 require training for all who work in buildings that could contain asbestos.
• Manual handling training is required for all those who are exposed to the risks of manual handling.
• The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 require training for those who use or change abrasive wheels.
