Risk Assessment and Method Statements

The ability to carry out suitable and suffucient risk assessments is essential for any persons involved in planning or supervising safe systems of work. The course will include a look through the wider requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations, as well as practical exercises in risk assessment using the HSE’s 5 steps. Delegates will be informed how to identify hazards, quantify risk, decide on and implement control measures, and to monitor and effectively reiview assessments in order to keep them up to date and site specific.

We will also learn how to provide realistic, down to earth method statements and how to adapt these for site specific changes.
