NEBOSH certificate qualifications are structured so that once the NGC1 Management of Health & Safety module is complete, students can then choose whether they wish to study for the General Certificate, the Construction Certificate or the Fire Certificate.

The NEBOSH National Certificate is accepted by IOSH - the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health - in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH.
It is also accepted by The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) for Associate Membership. The NEBOSH National Certificate is accredited at level 3 in the National Qualification Framework (NFQ) by the regulatory authorities.
