NEBOSH General Certificate &
NEBOSH Construction Certificate

Management of health and safety in the workplace is not only a legal obligation and a moral imperative; it also
makes good business sense. Qualified safety professionals are an asset to their organisations, building an effective
safety culture in the company, and reducing costs by preventing accidents and ill health of employees.
NEBOSH qualifications are sought after worldwide by industry and essential for those looking to begin a career as a
safety professional or wishing for the competence required to manage safety within their own
organisation.
NEBOSH Certificate qualifications are structured so that once the NGC1 Management of Health and Safety module is
complete, students can then choose whether they wish to study for the General Certificate, the Construction Certificate
or the Fire Certificate.
The NEBOSH National Certificates meet the academic requirements for Technician membership (TechIOSH) of the
Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk
and Safety Management (IIRSM).
The NEBOSH Certificate and qualifications are accredited at Level 3 within the National Qualification Framework.
