This course is aimed at operatives who work on any type of building site and in any trade. The course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues helping the individual to understand potential  hazards they may face on site, and identifying the individuals responsibility for looking after themselves and others.

The training covers legal rights and responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act, as well as tackling other general site issues including work at height and in the ground, fire, COSHH, noise, vibration, asbestos and some basic documentation requirements including risk assessments, method statements and inductions.  

Accredited Site Safety Plus Provider

This course is an essential foundation for those wishing to obtain an industry accreditation card and a natural progression from this course would be to attend the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme.

There will be a multiple choice test at the end of the course.

Delegate Rate: £140.00 plus vat inclusive of CITB fees

In House Rate for up to a maximum of 15 delegates :

£1,400.00 plus vat for up to 10 delegates.  For each additional delegate up to a total of 15, an amount of £46.00 plus vat per person is payable to cover CITB fees and mandatory publications.

(CITB fees include the Registration fee and the mandatory CITB publication Safe Start GE707)
