The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations require that those using abrasive wheels (including petrol driven and electrical powered disc cutters and angle grinders) are required to have training in the hazards specific to their machinery.  

Our course covers the legal issues associated with using this type of equipment, as well as safe use of the items, markings and long term health care effects of noise, vibration and dust inhalation.  

In house training can be carried out on site if suitable facilities are available.

Delegate rate: £55.00 plus vat

In-house rate: £550.00 plus vat for up to 12 delegates

There will be a multiple choice test and a practical exercise at the end of the course.

A set of PPE including goggles, dust mask and ear defenders is provided for each delegate.  

Please bring safety boots and wear sensible clothing.
