Abrasive Wheels Safety

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations require that those mounting and using abrasive wheels (including petrol driven and electrical powered disc cutters and angle grinders) are required to have training in the hazards specific to their machinery. Our course covers the legal issues associated with using this type of equipment, as well as safe use of the items, markings and long term health effects of noise, vibration and dust inhalation. A set of PPE including goggles, dust mask and ear defenders is provided for each delegate.
